Our junior hockey programs are built around fun first, helping kids feel confident, supported, and excited to be active — no pressure, no judgement, and no experience required. Every person of any age and ability can learn to play the skillful sport of hockey with us.
Our Junior Programs
We provide beginner-friendly and developing hockey programs that help children build confidence, learn new skills, and enjoy being active with others.
Our junior pathway is designed to be simple and accessible, with programs that allow children to try hockey in a safe and encouraging environment before deciding whether they want to continue further.
After-School Hockey Training Program
Our After-School Hockey Training Program is a fun and supportive way for children to continue learning hockey after being introduced to the sport at school or in the community.
Children train alongside friends, learn at a grassroots level, and grow in confidence without the pressure that often comes with trying a new sport for the first time.
This program is ideal for:
- children new to hockey
- children wanting to build basic skills
- children who enjoy learning in a relaxed group setting
- families looking for an affordable and flexible sporting option
Program Details
📅 Duration: 8-10 weeks
📍 Location: School sporting fields
📅 Day: Check the days for your school
⏰ Time: 3.30pm to 5.00pm
👶 Ages: All primary school ages
👕 What to wear: Comfortable training clothes and runners
🎒 What to bring: Water bottle and hat
🏑 Equipment: Hockey sticks and any training equipment provided unless otherwise advised.
Pricing & Registration
Program Cost:
$75 per child for the full 8-10 week program or $10 per session for every session child attends

Building Confidence & Friendships
Our programs help children learn to work as part of a team, communicate, support one another, and feel comfortable trying new things in a positive environment. Kids develop important life skills like resilience, respect, leadership, and self-belief, while building real friendships and connecting with peers from diverse backgrounds.
Getting started is easy
No prior hockey experience needed! Children can join at any stage, and our experienced coaches tailor activities to ensure every child feels comfortable, supported, and included from their very first session. Most basic equipment can be provided for beginners, and we’ll clearly explain what to bring, wear, and expect before day one.
